We love the simple lines and clean compact design of the unit, the deep firebox, and the flat top on which we can cook during power outages (we survived the infamous Quebec ice storm of the late 1990s by cooking on top of a wood stove for six weeks). We've just installed it, so it's too soon to tell you how it compares to our other experiences of stoves, but so far so good.
